I have been dabbling in the stock market for about a year now. There has been wheeling and dealing market tumbles and recoveries money lost, money gain. After one year I have lost the grand total of 9 cents. I am going to play with this just a little longer and if I still about even I think the money is going into the bank.

Hiya buddy. Just caught up - welcome home and praying that the exercise routine works out ok! LOL!
I figure the only way most of us will ever come out ahead with stocks is by investing in a reputable mutual fund..some have paid dividends every year for a century...
Hell, sounds like you were doing better than most people do at Vegas.
I do believe i will never make a futune in the stock market. Right now i playing this like slot machines, If I loose money it is not going to kill me. But unlike the slots if you loose this money there is a chance of getting it back. I was down almost $300 and kept telling myslf it is only a paper loss. Sure eough the stock bounched back.
