The bride and I are headed off for a vacation. We will spend two days in NYC, then get on a cruise ship for New England and Canada. Should be nothing but fun....

Not much going on in my life. Just finished a cup of coffee and I am watching the price is right with mom. Stayed up late last night watching football. The Chargers beat the much hated Raiders; however they did not look good but a win is a win.

I picked up a truck load of fire wood yesterday afternoon. Both the bride and mom love fires and I go through a lot of wood every winter.

I feels like fall is coming, it is cool in the mornings and you can feel the change in the air.

Got home today from a relaxing weekend in Las Vegas. We saw three shows and they were great, Terry Fator, defending the caveman, and Jersey Boys.

Pulled some carrots out of the garden today and used them in a carrot-cake recipe I found on the web. I was just wondering if I was suppose to wash the carrots before I mixed them into the batter?

The bride and I are headed to Las Vegas this weekend. We have tickets to a couple of shows and plan on having a very relaxing weekend.
