Got back from fishing yesterday.
We were on the water before sunrise and it was worth the early get up time.

I am leaving tomorrow afternoon for a two day fishing trip to Flaming Gorge. I know that this will be a good time. I am driving so I need to clean out my truck so I won't catch that much grief from my buddies. They do tend to whine from time to time.

I had no idea that being retired would be so busy. It seems lately that I do not have a minute to call my own. To be honest taking care of my mom is a full time job. I don't like to leave her alone for long periods of time. I see her dementia is progressing, her health is great. I think she is in better health than I am. She does get confused and she forgets what she has said within seconds of saying it. I can't tell you how many times I answer the same question in any given hour. But what I have read about dementia is you answer the question like it is the first time they have asked it, to them it is the first time. My mom is happy and she is safe. To me that is the important thing.

I am not going to say that I am getting old, but everytime I walked out of my buddy's house there were vultures lurking about.

The fishing was very slow this trip and it rained almost everyday. We still had a good time and I will show you a few pics from my trip.
